Alaska Projects - Samuel Hodge
To be completely honest I was a little hesitant about going to see this show only because of what I had read about it, it sounded a little dangerous so decided I shouldn’t rely on what I read or what other people try to say to deter me I had to go for myself, after all isn’t it your decision and not someone else’s!
Went early as usual and every man and his dingo and the who’s who of the Art world were there and it’s a really lovely show. Full of sensitive, joyful and contemplative images, lovingly photographed in capturing the essence of the moment in a most successful way. I’m a huge fan of photography, love what the camera does and what the photographer sees and what comes out of what both see.
These images reflect a feeling of being right there at the same instant of the picture being taken, they are so fresh, as fresh as a crunchy red apple freshly picked, sweet and delicious and love how the work was hung, beautifully!
Most impressed.
